Track all the Australian men's basketball players in the 2025 NBA Draft

  • There are 16 Aussies in the NBA in the 2024-25 season
  • Florida Gators National Champion Alex Condon is the highest projected pick at 29
  • Two NBL Next Stars have also declared for the draft

Six Australian men's basketball players have declared for the 2025 NBA Draft on June 26, 2025.

Four players — Alex Condon, Alex Toohey, Tyrese Proctor and Rocco Zikarsky are all projected late first and second round draft picks, ESPN's Mock Draft shows.

Two NBL Next Stars — Malique Lewis and Izan Almansa — have also declared.

Australian men's basketball players

  1. Alex Condon (#29 — Phoenix Suns via Cleveland Cavaliers)
  2. Alex Toohey (#40 — Washington Wizards via Phoenix Suns)
  3. Tyrese Proctor (#52 — LA Clippers via Minnesota)
  4. Rocco Zikarsky (#57  — Orlando Magic via Boston Celtics)
  5. Ben Henshall (Not Ranked)
  6. Lachlan Olbrich (Not Ranked)

NBL Next Stars

  1. Malique Lewis (Not Ranked)
  2. Izan Almansa (Not Ranked)

Condon, 21, is the highest projection at pick 29 to the Phoenix Suns after winning the NCAAM National Championship with the Florida Gators. while NBL Next Star Toohey at pick 40 to the Washington Wizards.

Sydney point guard Tyrese Proctor rocketed into Draft contention after an exceptional Junior year at Duke.

Despite not being ranked in the Top 60 players, Perth Wildcats star Ben Henshall remains bullish on his potential.

"I think I'm a lottery player, I think I'm better than a lot of guys that are in this draft,” Henshall said.

"I'm playing in a professional team against guys who have been in the NBA."
