Poa won a National Championship, the first for Tigers in 2023, beating Caitlin Clark's Iowa 102-85 under head coach Kim Mulkey.

"I am deeply thankful for the opportunities I’ve received, the mentors and supporters who have guided me, and the connections I’ve built with my teammates, trainers and coaches," she said.

"To the fans I LOVE YOU guys. Thank you for having my back every step of the way. The energy at PMAC and throughout Baton Rouge is something I’ll always cherish.

"From day one, you made me feel at home, and I am incredibly grateful for your constant support. It meant everything to me.

"Baton Rouge has truly become my second home, and this community will forever hold a special place in my heart.

"This year has changed me in ways I never expected. It helped me become a stronger PERSON and player.

"Geaux Tigers, Forever 13🐯💜💛."

Poa played in 30 games for the Tigers in 2024-25, averaging 12.9 minutes, 2.0 points, 1.0 rebounds and 1.9 assists.

Before arriving at Louisiana State University (LSU), Poa made a significant impact at the junior college level.

She attended Northwest Florida State College, where she quickly established herself as one of the top JUCO players in the country.

Her freshman season was nothing short of spectacular, culminating in a NJCAA National Championship.

Poa's performance during the tournament was extraordinary, earning her the NJCAA Tournament MVP award. Her statistics during the championship run were impressive, averaging 23.0 points per game while playing every minute of every game.

She showcased her shooting prowess with a 44.9% field goal percentage and an even more remarkable 43.5% from beyond the arc.

Poa played 102 games for the LSU Tigers, starting 27 times, with a majority of her minutes, points, rebounds and assists coming in the 2023-24 season.

She scored 360 points in total for the Tigers, grabbed 126 boards, dished 207 assists, 66 steals, and 20 blocked shots.
