Tamuri Wigness delivered a stellar 23-point performance as Southern Districts secured a hard-fought 93-88 victory against Brisbane at Northside Indoor Sports Centre. Wigness shot an efficient 8-from-18 from the field and added seven assists and three steals in a commanding all-round display. Max Kerle provided crucial support with 18 points, including a perfect 10-from-10 from the charity stripe, while Blake Jones contributed 17 points, nine rebounds, and three blocks.

The contest featured 12 lead changes and five tied scores, with Southern Districts building an 18-point advantage during their largest run of 13 consecutive points. Brisbane's Isaih Tueta matched Wigness with 23 points on outstanding 9-from-14 shooting (64.3 percent), but the home team struggled from three-point range, hitting just 5-from-22 (22.7 percent). Southern Districts showed their shooting prowess, connecting on 52.9% of their attempts from beyond the arc compared to Brisbane's dismal 20%.
