Taeshon Cherry erupted for 40 points as Willetton outlasted Cockburn 127-119 in a high-scoring affair at Willetton Basketball Stadium. Cherry was nearly perfect, shooting an outstanding 16-from-20 from the field including 5-from-8 from three-point range, while Thomas Gerovich contributed 25 points on 9-from-10 shooting inside the arc.
The game featured 22 lead changes with neither team able to pull away until late. Cockburn's Chan Nai delivered a stellar 33-point performance on 13-from-19 shooting with 4-of-6 from deep, while Kortland Martin added 27 points and seven assists. Willetton's efficient 64.4 percent shooting from the field proved decisive as they converted a remarkable 78.3 percent of their two-point attempts.
Warwick 101 def Joondalup 87 — Watch the Replay
Elijah Pepper delivered a dominant performance with 35 points, 11 assists and eight rebounds as Warwick defeated Joondalup 101-87 at Warwick Stadium. Pepper shot an efficient 12-from-20 from the field while Mitch Clarke added 27 points, including 8-from-11 from inside the arc.
CJ Turnage led Joondalup with a double-double of 27 points and 13 rebounds along with nine assists, while Joey Baker added 23 points in the loss. Warwick's three-point shooting proved to be the difference, connecting on 15-of-35 attempts (42.9 percent) compared to Joondalup's 6-of-25 (24 percent). The Senators pulled away in the second half, building a lead that reached 17 points.
Goldfields 120 def Eastern Suns 97 — Watch the Replay
Michael Jok scored 28 points and De'Sean Parsons recorded a double-double with 25 points and 13 rebounds as Goldfields dominated Eastern Suns 120-97 at Niels Hansen Basketball Stadium. Shaun Stewart achieved a triple-double with 24 points, 13 rebounds, and 14 assists in a stellar all-round display.
Goldfields controlled the glass with a commanding 51-29 rebounding advantage and shot an exceptional 53.1 percent (17-of-32) from three-point range. Marshall Nelson led the Eastern Suns with 20 points and eight assists, while Marley Sam added 19 points on efficient 7-of-10 shooting. The Giants led by as many as 32 points in the comprehensive victory.
Geraldton 119 def SW Slammers 96 — Watch the Replay
Nikolas DeSantis and Akeem Springs scored 22 points apiece as Geraldton cruised to a 119-96 win against SW Slammers at Active West Stadium. Johny Narkle added 18 points while the Buccaneers displayed stellar ball movement with 34 assists on 48 made field goals, shooting an outstanding 60 percent from the field.
Jamal Poplar led all scorers with 31 points for the Slammers, including 4-of-6 from beyond the arc, while also grabbing nine rebounds. Geraldton dominated in transition with 40 fast break points and controlled the paint with a 72-28 advantage in points in the paint. The Buccaneers' biggest lead reached 31 points as they improved their position in the standings.
East Perth 92 def Perry Lakes 80 — Watch the Replay
Jonah Antonio scored 26 points and Lee Roberts recorded a double-double with 14 points and 13 rebounds as East Perth defeated Perry Lakes 92-80 at Bendat Basketball Centre. Max Rice contributed 18 points, including three triples, as East Perth shot 48.6 percent from the field.
Matthew Leary led Perry Lakes with 25 points on 9-of-19 shooting, while Maxwell Bucknell added 17 points on an efficient 8-of-10 from the field. East Perth dominated the glass with a 40-39 rebounding edge and forced 20 turnovers. The Eagles' lead reached 14 points as they secured a crucial victory in their push for playoff positioning.
Perth 91 def Mandurah 89 — Watch the Replay
Emmanuel Kanwei posted a double-double with 21 points and 15 rebounds as Perth edged Mandurah 91-89 in a thriller at Mandurah Aquatic & Rec Centre. Joe Cook-Green added 24 points and four assists, while Lochlan Cummings contributed 16 points, eight rebounds and eight assists in the balanced attack.
Lachlan Bertram led Mandurah with 26 points, while Sammie Freeman recorded a double-double with 25 points and 16 rebounds, including four blocks. The closely contested game featured 34 lead changes and 14 ties, with neither team leading by more than eight points. Perth's bench outscored Mandurah's reserves 17-18 in the narrow victory.
Cockburn 90 def Perry Lakes 76 — Watch the Replay
Kortland Martin exploded for 31 points as Cockburn dominated Perry Lakes 90-76 at Wally Hagan Stadium. Martin put on a shooting clinic, going 12-from-21 from the field including an outstanding 7-from-13 from beyond the arc. Terrandus Smith added 18 points, four steals and three assists while Riley Eves contributed an all-round performance with eight points, eight rebounds, five steals and four assists.
The Hawks struggled to control the ball with 26 turnovers, which Cockburn converted into 24 points. Matthew Leary led Perry Lakes with 20 points but shot just 7-from-20 from the field. Cooper Hamilton added 18 points on efficient 6-from-8 shooting including 4-from-5 from three-point range, while Jaden Stanley-Williams contributed 17 points and seven rebounds. Despite shooting a solid 46.6 percent from the field, the Hawks couldn't overcome their turnover issues as Cockburn led for nearly 33 minutes of game time.
Rockingham 94 def Lakeside 91 — Watch the Replay
Isaac White scored a game-high 31 points as Rockingham secured a hard-fought 94-91 victory against Lakeside at Lakeside Recreation Centre. White went to the free-throw line frequently, converting 14-from-16 attempts, while Laquinton Ross recorded a double-double with 18 points and 12 rebounds on efficient 8-from-12 shooting. Tevin Jackson orchestrated the offense with 12 points, seven assists and eight rebounds.
Despite the loss, Lakeside's Joshua Davey posted an exceptional double-double with 13 points and 19 rebounds, dominating the glass with 15 defensive boards. AJ Wilson contributed 16 points on nearly perfect 7-from-8 shooting and added six blocks, while Isaiah Lewis scored 19 points. Lakeside led for over 37 minutes and built a 28-point advantage at one stage, but Rockingham mounted an impressive comeback with a 13-0 scoring run. The Flames struggled from three-point range, shooting just 25.7 percent (9-from-35), which ultimately cost them despite their dominance in the paint where they shot 71 percent on two-point attempts.
