The game featured 22 lead changes with neither team able to pull away until late. Cockburn's Chan Nai delivered a stellar 33-point performance on 13-from-19 shooting with 4-of-6 from deep, while Kortland Martin added 27 points and seven assists. Willetton's efficient 64.4 percent shooting from the field proved decisive as they converted a remarkable 78.3 percent of their two-point attempts.

Despite shooting a solid 46.6 percent from the field, the Hawks couldn't overcome their turnover issues as Cockburn led for nearly 33 minutes of game time.

Isaac White scored a game-high 31 points as Rockingham secured a hard-fought 94-91 victory against Lakeside at Lakeside Recreation Centre.
