Four Aussies headed for Play-In Tournament
The Play-In is set, with four Aussies bidding for the final Playoff spots.
The NBA Play-In Tournament officially tips off on Wednesday morning, with four Australian players looking to help their teams secure a playoff berth. As the high-pressure mini-tournament unfolds over a four-day stretch, these Aussies will be aiming to extend their seasons into the NBA Playoffs proper.
The Play-In Tournament begins on Wednesday, April 16, with Dyson Daniels and the eighth-seeded Atlanta Hawks travelling to face the Orlando Magic. The winner will advance to the Eastern Conference playoffs as the seventh seed.
Later that morning, Taran Armstrong and the eighth-seeded Golden State Warriors will visit the seventh-seeded Memphis Grizzlies, with the victor claiming the Western Conference's seventh seed.
Thursday's action features Josh Giddey and the ninth-seeded Chicago Bulls hosting the tenth-seeded Miami Heat, with the loser being eliminated. In the second game of the double-header, Dante Exum and the tenth-seeded Dallas Mavericks will face the Sacramento Kings, where the losing team's season will come to an end.
The tournament concludes on Saturday with the losers of earlier contests to determine the eighth seeds in both conferences.

Several Australian players have already secured direct playoff berths with their teams. Jock Landale and Jack McVeigh will represent Houston, while Ben Simmons and Patty Mills will suit up for the LA Clippers.
Joe Ingles and his Minnesota Timberwolves clinched one of the Western Conference's top spots, rookie Johnny Furphy contributing to Indiana's successful campaign, and Luke Travers will be part of Cleveland's playoff push when the NBA Playoffs officially begin on April 20.
