This week in kicks/fits: Amoore shows out at draft
Booker and Nike hit the right note again, Aussie young gun dons custom Sabrina's on big stage.
It was a massive week of Aussie basketball action across the board, with monster moments across the under-18s national championships, college and professional ranks.
But the sneaker action expanded even across sports — yes, we saw sick pairs on court, but how about on the golf course, or the highway, or inside a Barbie box?
From long-awaited Kobe’s to new Nike flagship models, the sneaker news came thick and fast, while Australia’s top talents continued to pull on heat.
Booker debuts Chevy collection
It might not have been the season Devin Booker and the Phoenix Suns were hoping for, but one bright spot has been the continued heaters being released by Booker and Nike.
This trend continued with the announcement of their collaboration with car brand Chevy, a three-shoe collection announced this week.
The Nike x Chevy collection features two Nike Blazer lows, as well as Booker's signature sneaker the BOOK ONE, all decked out with the automobile manufacturer’s signature logo and suede uppers.
A well-known fan of classic cars, Booker has combined his favourite wheels off the court with his favourites on the hardwood, providing a silver lining to a tough year in Arizona.
Jordan brand flexes after all-Jumpman natty
Florida took down Houston in an adrenaline-packed NCAA National Championship game Tuesday, featuring an impressive hustle play from Aussie Alex Condon to win the game for the Gators.
But before the first whistle sounded, Jordan brand had already won, with both teams vying for the title with the Jumpman logo on their chest.
The brand made sure to take full advantage of this fact, releasing an ad flexing that two of their schools were the final remaining teams.
But they made sure to give the Swamp Kings their flowers, releasing a separate spot with the tagline ‘Only Gators get out alive’.

Golf legend dons Off-White at Augusta
Golf’s biggest weekend teed-off in a massive way, with plenty of impressive looks across the field.
From Jason Day’s Malbon looks to Tony Finau’s impressive sneaker collection, Augusta has become a place for golfers to get their best fits off but Phil Mickelson stole the show this year with his custom Off-White x Air Jordan 1 lows.
The three-time Masters champion pulled on the all-white pair, complete with Off-White’s signature inner foot text, this time tweaked for the Georgia-based tournament.
This pair was one of a number of custom AJ1 lows Mickelson wore at the Masters, with another dedicated to his three wins, while a third featured the topography of the famous course.
Aussie star shows off Sabrinas at Nike Hoop Summit

Three Australians represented their nation at the 2025 Nike Hoop Summit, featuring the best high-school talent in the world.
Split into Team USA vs Team World, both men's and women's teams went to battle, with the talent from down under made up of Dash Daniels (who was shut down after an ankle tweak), Lara Somfai and Saffron Shiels.
Somfai gave fans an insight into the gear Hoop Summit, including a clean pair of custom Nike Sabrina 2s, posted to her Instagram story.
Ultimately, however, she opted to play the game in a pair of Nike Kobe 6 ‘All-Star’, swapping the laces from white to red.
