2025 NBL1 West mid-week games fuel fans
WA releases its 2025 NBL Schedule
NBL1 West has released its 2025 fixtures.
"2025 is set to deliver an incredible season for our fans, and on behalf of the NBL1 West, I would like to thank our clubs, venues and broadcast partners, KAYO, for their support and assistance," said General Manager of Basketball Operations Adam Bowler.
Grand Final rematches between Willetton and Mandurah in the men's and Rockingham vs. Cougars in the women’s division — redemption versus dominance.
2024 was a record-breaking season for the Mitsubishi Motors NBL1 West, with more than 110,000 fans attending games and over 10 million minutes watched via live-streaming channels.
The fixture sets up a thrilling start to the season, with both men’s and women’s Grand Final rematches scheduled in the opening two rounds.
Alex Ciabattoni trades blue for red, joining the team that bested hers in the Grand Final — ready to make her mark as a Flame this season.
On opening night, the Willetton Tigers will be looking for redemption against 2024 men’s champions, Mandurah Magic, while in the women’s re-match, Perth Lynx star Alex Ciabattoni will line up for the reigning champions Rockingham Flames as they unveil their banner against her former Cockburn Cougars team the following Friday.
Fans won’t have to wait long to catch former Perth Wildcats Grand Final MVP, Terrico White in action for the Eastern Suns as they host the Geraldton Buccs on Sunday in round one. The Goldfields Giants will unveil their brand-new show court in opening round, taking on the Cockburn Cougars, replicating the first ever match up to take place on the old court back in 1990.
Mid-week games have proved popular, so this upcoming fixture has incorporated match-ups during the school holidays to ensure fans receive an extra dose of NBL1 basketball and get out to support their teams with the whole family.
