All the NBL player movements and signings for the NBL1 men's 2025 season

  • Sandringham Sabres have signed four NBL-level players for their NBL1 team in 2025
  • NBL1 South is stacked with NBL level talent
  • Forrestville Eagles in NBL1 Central will be VERY tough to beat

Adelaide 36ers Dejan Vasiljevic and Fiston Ipassou have joined Forestville Eagles (NBL1 Central), while retiree Jason Cadee has linked up with his junior Bankstown Bruins (NBL1 East) for the NBL1 2025 season.

They are part of a 39-player NBL contingent that are staying in Australia during the off-season.

Rising talents such as Kye Savage (Brisbane Bullets) and Zac Triplett (Illawarra Hawks) found homes with North West Thunder (NBL1 South) and Logan Thunder (NBL1 North). This mix of emerging stars and seasoned professionals strengthens the quality of the competition, allowing young athletes to learn from more experienced teammates and opponents in a structured, elite-level setting.

What is NBL1 and why it's important

NBL1 conferences — South, East, North, West, and Central — provide a highly competitive semi-professional environment where both young prospects and experienced pros can continue to play high-level basketball.
