Wena David Okwera and Emmett Adair were a combined 12-from-17 from the field as the Australian Boomers routed Indonesia 109-58 in a dead rubber of the Asia Cup Qualifiers in Gippsland on Thursday, February 20, 2025.

Okwera's 15 came in 17 minutes and Adair's in 14 minutes.

The 51-point margin of victory highlighted the gulf in class between the two sides, with Australia's relentless offence and stifling defence proving too much for their overmatched opponents.
The Boomers set the tone early, racing out to a commanding lead in the first quarter and never looking back. They led 22-4 after the first quarter.
Australia's superior athleticism, size and execution were evident from the opening tip, as they consistently found open looks and converted at a high percentage. Indonesia struggled to find any rhythm offensively, stymied by Australia's aggressive perimeter defence and interior presence.

As the game wore on, Australia's bench took centre stage, demonstrating the our impressive depth.
The statistical dominance of Australia was stark. They outshot Indonesia 46.7% to 34.6% from the field, including a 14-5 advantage in threes made.
The Boomers' ball movement was impressive, as they racked up 32 assists to Indonesia's 10. On the glass, Australia's 51-31 rebounding edge, including 21 offensive boards, gave them numerous second-chance opportunities and limited Indonesia's possessions.

For Indonesia, Lester Prosper was valiant in a losing effort, notching a double-double with 18 points and 14 rebounds. However, he struggled with his shot, going just 5-from-17 from the field as Australia's interior defence made his life difficult
Australia has already qualified for the 2025 Asia Cup in Saudi Arabia later this year.
The Boomers play Thailand on Sunday, February 23, 2025 at 4.30pm.
