Andrew Bogut's keys to the NBL25 Grand Final Series

basketball.com.au columnist and NBA champion Andrew Bogut analyses the NBL25 Grand Final Series between Illawarra Hawks and Melbourne United.

Bogut, who won a championship with Steph Curry's Golden State Warriors in 2015, said making United's Chris Goulding uncomfortable was key for the Hawks.

"You gotta make Chris break the three, and it's easier said than done," Bogut said.

"He does such a great job, where he's really efficient, you know, like scorers like Bryce and other imports, and Bryce does a good job off the ball too, but they're generally very good with the ball in their hands.

"Chris is very good with the ball, not in his hands, just moving away from the ball, and what that does is it causes so much problems.

"For opposing teams, because they're so panicked that a lot of times Rob Lowe, Marcus Lee, White, they all get easy baskets because everyone's focusing on Chris.

"So you gotta make him break the 3, and what that means is you traditionally have to probably run wide over the three-point line and chase him downhill, try to funnel him towards the basket, because everyone knows if he scores 30 scoring all 2s, (he's) much less, less efficient."
