Jacob Richards leads NBL1 South Round 1 after two dominant Hobart performances in tight wins

Jacob Richards delivered two dominant performances as Hobart Chargers opened the NBL1 South Men season with back-to-back wins over Nunawading and Frankston.

Hobart held off Nunawading Spectres 87–85 on March 27 before edging Frankston Blues 87–84 the following day, with Richards central to both results.

Frankston controlled the tempo across all four quarters, maintaining a consistent scoring output to pull away late and secure a 14-point road win.
