Complete list of all 2025 NBA player movements ahead of the 2025-26 NBA season

The player landscape is already experiencing a seismic shift as the the 2024 NBA champion Boston Celtics dismantle their roster to alleviate the luxury tax bill that would cost the storied franchise almost $500M USD!

Without getting below the salary cap for the third straight year, the Celtics would be hit with a "repeater tax" which means the tax on their more than $220M annual salary would be a staggering $280M USD. It means the Celtics are open for business and championship players are on the block.

More transactions are expected as part of the 2025 NBA Draft and then the minute free agency opens on July 1, 2025 (AEST).

Evan Sidery is reporting Australian Jock Landale will be waived by the Houston Rockets in the coming days.
